FULL GLAZING NEEDS CLIMATE MODERATION

The façade has always been one of the key trades that determines how architecture is perceived, but also how well it functions. As the proportion of glass increases, the planning and construction challenges become greater in order to master the often contradictory aspects of building physics.

When a fully glazed solution is considered in the design of a building, climate moderation is required.

External elements help to control light penetration and heat. However, care must be taken to allow occupants both to see the outside during daylight hours and to interact with the building.
