GREEN GLASS MAKES FACES GREY

Glazing always influences the spectral composition of the transmitted light. This changes the colour rendition, sometimes significantly, and alienates the appearance of human skin, for example.

A rather philosophical question outlines these facts as follows:

“Is ’daylight’, if its spectral composition is significantly changed when transmitted through one or more panes of glass, still “daylight” at all?
