DAYLIGHT IS CLIMATE NEUTRAL
Solar radiation is indeed a determining natural climate factor from which no climate-damaging emissions emanate directly.
In carefully planned architecture, the intensive use of daylight does not result in any indirect emissions either. A façade with good solar shading allows the use of daylight in summer with lower cooling loads compared to a variant based on artificial lighting. In winter, additional desirable solar gains can be realised. Climate-damaging energy supply can thus be avoided.
