IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS LIGHT

The enormous energy of the cosmos existed in the form of radiation in the first fractions of a second after the Big Bang. Long before the elementary particles came into being, it bathed the universe in a dim but bright light.

Life arises from the interaction of amino acids and light. The world of living beings is thus based on the effects of light from the very beginning and is characterised by the alternation between brightness and darkness.
